Chris has been involved with technology ventures for 10+ years. Initially Chris served as a Business Development Manager for the Web Head Group, a San Antonio based technology infrastructure, security and development firm. He has now moved on to found his own digital advertising agency, Idealgrowth, focusing on delivering dynamic, scaleable and efficient marketing strategies for high growth businesses. James Austin

James’ professional background has focused mainly on credit underwritings for large corporate companies. James worked with Bank of America as the primary analyst in the bank’s financial institutions group, where he actively monitored a portfolio with over $2.0 billion of collective exposure. Currently, he's an associate in the global credit analysis group within Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. He analyzes and evaluates prospective deals across multiple industry groups, including manufacturing, services, technology and energy. James is an active market investor and has contributed personal capital to fund multiple business ventures. Email James

Kevin Vela

Kevin's love for startups comes from his three attempts at starting his own ventures, two of which he chalks up to "learning experiences." Most recently, Kevin and his law partner launched Vela | Keller PC, a boutique law firm located in Mockingbird Station that focuses on startups, small businesses and social media law. Kevin's personal experience and wide pre-law school career grant him a unique ability to really see inside the deal, and understand it from the viewpoint of the business owner.
